Tigger the Bengal cat doesn’t meow,its more of a yeowall, but deeper like DEEPERyeowall
well close.
On the morning in question that would be today, which is really the middle of
the night which would have been last night, but Bengal’s cant tell time.
I was asleep in my warm soft bed wrapped around my pillow
curled up like a pair of puppies with my adorable husband.
Dreaming of the sugar-plum fairy, and undeniably chocolate and other Christmas delights,
when to my heart stopping surprise a 300 pound Bengal kitten falls, on my head,out of the sky.
Tiggers awake says my sleeping husband from under his pillow.
Better get up.
That would be my utter darlings way of saying gently of course time to get up.

I reach up to make sure that the claws I feel inserted into my brain
are not actually in my eyes and nudge, mouth full of Tigger fur.. getup..ya lil booger move.
which sounds like.mmmrmrmmyaborrrrrr and doesn’t work anyway.

I am semiconscious,at this point , just this side of,if yall lay still,
I’ll be snoring ,I mean sleeping in 2 minutes,
when those 17 inch claws flex, digging into my head.
All thoughts of a snuggle gone, its time to get off Tigger off my head.
With both hands I attempt to move him.
The claws hang on, digging deeper. My eyes pop open ,
two handfuls of fur and the miracle occurs.
A Bengal cat is airborne the quiet thump tells me he landed on all four feet,
as cats always do and people never do.
beowoyalll beowoyalll beowoyalll as he does the Tigger dance on my chest,
just turn off the fire station siren.

My sweet husband who from under the pillows and blankets and mattress speaks
” can you bring me some coffee since your up”.
I mumble under my breath about Tigger cats mattresses and other loving things.

Standing up gently, making sure there’s no damage from the claws in my brain.
To the kitchen I go, surrounded at all sides by chattering critters,
who all have to go thru the doorway at once, now, hurry up right now.

Buddy the Dog knows that there have been intruders in his territory so being
the big brave boy he is, he starts announcing his presence from inside the zoo, err house.

Misssnot the other cat is demanding the door be opened now,what is the reason for this delay??
Tigger flops on the floor by the refrigerator, knowing that its only a matter of time until
I fall over him, being reminded by his claws that have wrapped around my ankle,
that its a Tiggers breakfast time, and would I be sure to chop
the shaved ham a bit better this morning.
I mumble something about coffee,I need some coffee, he yawns affecting disinterest.
I’m not fooled those teeth that followed the claws haven’t let go.
I get the ham.
I look at the clock, its 4 am.
