Mice have never been my friends.
I actually distinctly remember finding the first hand woven wool blanket that I was given as a child
that had been chewed by mice.
What does this have to do with anything?
There was a story about a mouse that caused a fire , that destroyed a 81 yr old mans home.

Someone posted a comment that the man deserved to lose his home,
because of animal cruelty.Get a life. Get a reality check.
It was a mouse.

I agree the guy should have shot the mouse, or drowned the mouse , or knocked it in the head before attempting to burn it . But he didn’t.

Perhaps someday they will find the understanding that animals are not people.

What does this say about our society when a mouse is more valuable than a person’s home?

I have trapped mice without a thought, have kept cats so I wouldn’t have the aggravation of having to trap them. Mice are rodents. They carry disease. I dont like, mice any better than I like fire ants, spiders or snakes.

But if there is a mouse in my house , it better be quicker than Tigger the Bengal Cat,
Or Misssnot the snotty Cat, or it is going to die.

Edit Update: This was a lie, no mouse burned down the house, I think.
