January Carnival Lineup

Last weeks Carnival of new blogs was on the RandomYak’s Side of the mountain..
Now I have to wonder coming from CowboyHeaven Montana, which side of the mountain would that be?
If I were a yak, I would pick the easiest side to climb. But since I have chased bovines up and down all kinds of mountains, not being a Yak.. it’s simply pure speculation..

This week the carnival landed at at Dave’s place, (but Dave’s not here)
so maybe he was so wore out from the creative challenge of dealing with new bloggers, never mind.

The Carnival of new blogs.. that is new blogs of three months or less duration ( of course we will cut you some slack ) And not charge you.. Shame on you Dave for attempting to get bribes, err, entries that way!

Carnivals can be entered in a variety of ways.
thru Ferdinand T Cats, place, or a direct submission thru Carnivals.
Next weeks sucker host is Jack Yoest a management guru, a pretty darn smart guy, so double check your spelling !

Next up is Right Wing Nation, who had me grinning like a happy school kid, or as God said of King David, a man after my own heart.
And I instantly noticed he keeps a countdown on when Islamic Terrorist Scum
declared war on the United States of America .

So I tremble, (sounds good huh?) at being in such impressive company.
Anyway the critters and I look forward to the coming Carnivals.

Shopping For A Hero

John and I went shopping last night, so what?
John doesn’t shop ever, well almost never.
This is one of the reasons he has a wife.
One of several.

So last night we shopped for a special reason.
For our “adopted” American Hero. We adopted this service person thru
Soldiers’ Angels
These are ordinary people that are dedicated to ensuring that our military know they are loved and supported during and after their deployment into harms way.
Their motto “May No Soldier Go Unloved”
Enough said.

I have been making lists, reading blogs, especially those listed thru Camp Katrina blogs, to see what the things might be, that a person serving in Iraq
might need or really want. But John bless his Patriotic former military heart, took it, filled it in and out.
So this morning found me busily packing boxes. Not the single box I thought we would be sending.
But that’s ok, a note to our Hero, asked that items not needed or liked be shared.

Tigger decided that a Bengal should help..Tigger wants to be a soldiers angel
