We Need Some Angels

Soldiers Angels is a foundation that is made up of ordinary people, with a small difference.
They have made the commitment to “adopt” an American Soldier for the duration of his/her deployment.

I tell you frankly, that we are so glad to be doing something, practical and real.
This is how it works, When you adopt your soldier you commit to one letter a week, and one package a month. We send everything in usps boxes, cost to send is 8.10 per box.

If you don’t want to adopt, there is also a snail mail letter team, you tell them what day you want to write, and how many letters, they send you the name and address of deployed soldiers.

There is also a epal letter program, for those who hate to actually write a letter.
Let them know you care, however you can.

I’d also like to share Fallen Heroes, built with Love, by our angels, to honor those who have fallen, while defending our freedom.

A Gift Of Spring

A gift of early spring, arrived today! I have somewhere around 800 daffodil bulbs planted, I noticed on Tuesday the early variety was up , but I didn’t really think they were close to blooming. Here is The first Daffodil of 2006, at our house. I wanted to pick it , and enjoy it on our table, But the Tigger would eat it. This is in a sun bed by our patio.

First daffodil of 2006 Isn’t that pretty, They are about 6 weeks ahead of last year, the first daffodil in 2005, was March 18,2005.
Pretty cool huh!

My new canvas came today, I’m pretty excited about the potential, parrot digigraphic had been reviewed by FLAAR so I ordered a roll, if the quality is as good as I think it is, it will be wonderful, because right now my Giclee Canvas comes from Germany
Parrot, was wonderful, helpful, nice, and just generally outstanding to deal with!

So Tigger Figero,(he was singing with Sarah McLachlan, well He was trying to anyway.)
Have you all heard the song for a winters night, done by Sarah and Gordon Lightfoot?
It’s really a pretty song!
So this perfectly good box was just sitting there, empty, lonely, calling out for a Bengal Type Critter Tigger Being Adorable to visit!
