Valentines For Our Troops

I discovered several weeks ago, that a local store had very cool non romantic but friendly valentine cards at 5 for a dollar, which was great because I frankly suck stink at designing valentine cards. So after a brief discussion with John, where he agreed to participate in writing notes for the cards… now 100 cards may not sound like allot, but trust me it is.. Especially if your doing it ALONE . This morning saw the last batch stamped and ready to mail. The Time frame from the USA to delivery to the troops is 10 days, so get off your butts and get a card or 2 in the mail.

Please do remember our troops, they need our support!
If your not inclined to snail mail, use this service, Soldiers Angels in collaboration with Library of Life is mounting a Guinness Book of Records attempt, called Operation: Love Our Troops,to create the largest digital Valentine’s Day card ever and send the messages
to our deployed military. just do it.. Geez!

Tigger thinks that playing with cards and pens is pretty fun, but didn’t think to much of the idea of paw signing.. and ink is really hard to get out of fur by the way…

Addresses can be found here at anysoldier.com and here with a big thanks to campkatrina.

Of Course if you had a bit of motivation and 5 minutes a week to donate, SoldiersAngels.org
is the place to visit! Feel good about supporting our troops!
