Hero Tribute’s
GroovyVic over at Code Red For Women mentions “Bring ‘Em Home Now” is a concert being organized by Cindy Sheehan.
I have wondered about Casey Sheehan a number of times. Today cause I didnt feel like working because I had a few moments, I thought I’d look into who Casey was.
I am truly sympathetic to The Sheehan’s Families loss of Army Spec. Casey Sheehan.
Casey was 24 years old when he died, had just re-enlisted after his first four-year-term was up, and had voluntarily undertaken the mission when he and others were ambushed on their way to help extract a senior officer who got pinned down by hostile gunfire in Sadr City.
He died April 4, 2004, in Baghdad. He was a American Hero. “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends” (John 15:13)
There is a very moving tribute to a Fallen Hero on Michelle Malkin’s blog this morning.Michelle’s blog appears to be down again…Legacy. com is noted as a tribute point for Fallen Hero’s. So I looked. The first entry for Casey Sheehan is July 11, 2005, odd.
Other Tribute pages, for and about Casey can be found here here and here
and here
Casey Sheehans sister had this to say of her brother…
“All he wanted to do was serve God and his country his whole life,†Carly Sheehan said.
God Bless our American Hero’s.
*/ Update: It appera that Michelle is under attack for her freedom of speech stance..
she will be cross posting at pajamas until the FBI gets this sorted out..
