Support A Soldiers Wife

Filed under Florida, News.., pet's Rants

This gal needs some support!

I have talked to Stacy Kelley, she has received threats, is now
unemployed, has been treated shamefully by fox, and is generally really
needing some support. She is a very nice person,
who is stressed enough having her Husband
In Iraq, fighting for freedom..

I personally applaud her decision.

I was hoping that a few other bloggers could help me
organize a show of support for Stacy and David Kelley.

I have to be honest, I am not sure if simply protesting at the gates of
this community with “support our troops signs” and American flags will
help, but I feel a need to do something..

Any ideas ?

Stacy Kelley-Hero’s Wife

There are things worth fighting for.
The war on terror is one.
Personal principle is another.

There is a young soldiers wife, who is doing just that.
She has determined to make a personal stand in support
of her husband, who is fighting to defend freedom.

As a Soldiers Angel I would like her to know we support her.
As an Floridian I applaud her,and as an American I
would like to thank her and her husband, for their
personal sacrifice to support freedom.

George at Stuck On Stupid has made his blog available to Stacy Kelley.

The Median Sib, who is hosting this weeks The Carnival of Blue Stars - 5th Edition includes a heads up on this story..

I wonder these things.

I wonder where you are.
I wonder how you are or if you are,
do you think of me?
Did you know I loved you?
Did you know I needed to know that you loved me?

You never could, and I
Must be strong enough
To move past you
The mother I needed.

I fight back the tears
I don’t want anyone to see me cry.
I can’t believe you’re gone
With so many things unhealed.

The love you wouldn’t give.
Yet I loved you, I tried.

So I tell you now
As I wonder about you,
That I experience joy and love
I celebrate the things I have learned
I love and laugh.

I think and grieve
The mother you could have been.
