Showcase Carnival ~Madness Continues

Published by pet under Life, News..

Spank That Donkey sent in some information every reader should have about machine guns..
Eric says that “now I realize something… I really could use a Machine Gun. These fellows at JB ARMS are Class II manufacturers, and can put you in a machine gun about as quick as the ATF regulations allow. That’s about 3 months….”
wow..
I hope the Master of The Universe John doesn’t read this!!!!!!!!!!!!

The third age blog was obviously trying to confuse me, probably knowing that I was reading
thru a crystal darkly, they are presenting their second third age blog..
After reading it three times I am convinced that crystal reading is highly overrated, but it was a really informative blog , dealing with a delicious blend of information, dieter’s lament to nutrition.. and memory loss and odd behavior..
Perhaps the showcase sponsor Mr Ogre would have done this differently…

raising4boys.com , where they practice parenting by the seat of their pants, is dealing with an eight year old with braces.. very nice to hear of such quick progress!

Renee, at DeployedFamilySupport shares her mission to reach out to families of wounded and deployed soldiers.. Be sure to check that out!

Well that’s it for March Madness..last weeks carnival was at The Random Yaks side of the mountain,
and we will see you again in April!

The American Legion Anti-aclu

Your tax dollars are paying the aclu bills

American Legion pushes for anti-ACLU legislation..

reprint from stoptheaclu….
Stop The ACLU
Indiana’s John Hostettler is trying for the fifth consecutive Congress to
prevent the American Civil Liberties Union from receiving government funds
when it succeeds at legal challenges to public expressions of religion.

The ACLU and other organizations have gained attorneys’ fees in numerous
cases in which they have won legal challenges to religious expression and
symbols. These include:

– The ACLU was awarded nearly $800,000 in attorneys’ fees from the city of
San Diego, Calif., in its successful effort to prevent the Boy Scouts of
America, which acknowledges God in its oath, from continuing to use Balboa
Park, according to the pro-family organization Eagle Forum.

– The ACLU, Americans United for Separation of Church and State and the
Southern Poverty Law Center gained about $540,000 from the state of Alabama
in a successful challenge of the Ten Commandments monument displayed in the
State Judicial Building by Alabama Chief Justice Roy Moore, according to
Eagle Forum.

– The ACLU received about $63,000 in a successful attempt to remove a cross
from the Mojave Desert World War I Memorial in California, according to the
American Legion.

That case prompted a unanimously approved resolution by the American Legion
in 2004 urging Congress to pass legislation to bar attorneys’ fees in
successful suits calling for the removal or destruction of such symbols. It
also pointed to a special concern of the American Legion — the consequences
for crosses, Stars of David and other religious symbols on veterans’ graves.

Bock called the removal of the Mojave cross a “very dangerous precedent.
There are 22 national cemeteries with veterans at rest beneath religious
symbols. There is nothing in the law to prevent groups like the ACLU from
filing establishment-clause lawsuits against those sacred grounds and then
receiving taxpayer-paid attorney fees.

PERA “will restore legal balance in this country, and it will protect us
from being the victims of this assault on our religious liberties,”
Hostettler said in a Feb. 28 speech at the American Legion’s national
conference in Washington, according to his written text.

Harvesting Organs

Published by pet under Life, News..

A blood test followed by a bullet to the back of the head..

Chinese doctors are harvesting” kidneys, corneas and other organs from live concentration camp inmates and selling them for up to $100,000 apiece.

That’s the shocking report from a former employee at Liaoning Provincial Thrombosis Hospital of Integrated Chinese and Western Medicine, where the organ removal has allegedly been taking place.

The recent discovery of Sujiatun concentration camp in China, where authorities are currently removing organs from living Falun Gong practitioners, has highlighted the apparently widespread practice of illegally harvesting organs from prisoners without their consent. Two experts on illegal organ transplants in China, Harry Wu and Dr. Tom Diflo, have both testified before U.S. Congress about such illegal practices in state-owned Chinese hospitals.

In China, authorities deny that prisoners’ body parts are harvested without their consent. However, there is some evidence to suggest it may be happening.
In June 2001, Wang Guoqi, a Chinese former military physician, told US congressmen he had worked at execution grounds helping surgeons to harvest the organs of more than 100 executed prisoners, without prior consent. The surgeons used converted vans parked near the execution grounds to begin dissecting the bodies

The harvested organs “are mainly sold to Thailand, but I believe they are also sold to other regions of the world. Nowadays, there are many patients in China who need human skin, corneas, and kidneys for organ transplant surgeries.”

Currently, a kidney can be sold for $30,000 to $100,000, the former employee added.
