Immigration What?

Maybe I’m just naïve to think that illegal immigration has been given a nod so to speak because our politicians don’t want to alienate big business or Mexican American voters.
Political affairs’ are winning out over the interests of the American taxpayer Again.
I have to ask where do illegal immigrants contribute to the United States of America?

To our Security?.. laughable.. oh please..Yes I’m sure Illegal’s are going to volunteer for the United States army…

So what do we do?

Seal the borders; Amnesty, no, deportation yes. That’s pretty dang harsh, after all they just want to improve the quality of their life. How nice illegally entering our country gets you a better standard of living. At what cost to the citizens of the United States?

Can you say the word Law? As in enter legally. I know this is a hard concept.

Laws are written to benefit the citizens. You know people who contribute to the
Tax dollars that subsidize the illegal immigrants as they suck our resources up

Illegal immigrants in the United States are clearly unconcerned with any concept that they must abide by US law. And we are supposed to be concerned about this why?

The law is very clear, and very easy to understand. Even in Spanish.

It is very much an issue of right and wrong.
Headlines around the world announced that Federal immigration authorities arrested 183 fugitives and other illegal immigrants in Florida following the protest..

Interestingly enough there have been no further arrests in Florida.

I am sure it wasn’t grandstanding.. Of course not.. That would be too deceptive.

So what about the other 849,827 illegal’s still in Florida? Or really who knows how many?

10.3 million: Total number of illegal immigrants in the United States.
5.9 million: Number of illegal immigrants in the United States who are Mexican.
850,000: Total number of illegal immigrants in Florida.

Illegal immigrants to the US cost the country at least $10 billion more than they contribute to the economy. The CIS (Center for Immigration Studies) advises that if amnesty is put into place, these costs to the American economy (and the American taxpayer) will triple. The average illegal immigrant family uses $2,700/year more in services than it pays in taxes. In 2002, this amounted to a $10.4 billion drain on the federal budget. Some of the greatest federal costs included: Medicaid ($2.5 billion); treatment for the uninsured ($2.2 billion); food assistance programs ($1.9 billion); the federal prison and court systems ($1.6 billion); and federal aid to schools ($1.4 billion).

Oh wow, the comment section is down here. I got registered, but will forget that password no doubt. (LOL)

Great Post Pet….I am on this bandwagon too and with the CAII. It just infuriates me about these illegals and them DEMANDING rights. It keeps bringing ones back the law and they broke it by entering our country illegally.

I sure hope Pres. Bush’s speech Monday night will be tougher on this issue…we definitely have to secure our borders and stop this flow. As far as I am concerned…it is like Kender…give them 90 days to go home and get in line. After that…start rounding them up.
