Incarnation of Christ

Posted at 8:06 pm under Christian, Christmas

My family will celebrate the incarnation of Christ this year, as we do every year.
Yes I have read The Two Babylon’s by Alexander Hislop, and I know that all of the Christmas symbols evolved from paganism. It does not change the meaning of Christmas for me.

Christmas, is more than simply celebrating Jesus Christ’s birth some 2000 years ago.
It is also a time to keep our hearts and minds centered on Gods love and mercy as we celebrate the Gift of Jesus Christ.

Christians believe that Jesus Christ together with God the Father and God the Holy Spirit worked together in the creation of the cosmos. We believe that Christ humbled himself to be born fulfilling endless prophesies in an amazing miracle of love.

As the Gospel of John says, “God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16

How can any person who believes that this phenomenon really occurred not want to celebrate it? Christians should be rejoicing in the Blessed gift of Christ’s birth!

The next good news is the Christmas Alliance has its own (Yippee!!!!! MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!))))))))
