Katrina-The Saga Lives On

Published by pet at 8:53 am under News..

There has been much written, much recorded. Much discussed about Hurricane Katrina….

It was by anyone’s standards, a disaster.
Today, there are some 200,000 people still in tents, or in trailers.

Over the weekend, rightfully FEMA ordered the evacuation of 58 families,
that had been living with raw sewage in their yards..
My question is why it took a year.

FEMA was able to assist all but 10 families into different housing over the day Sunday..
And why were there not homes prearranged for these people?

Again in Louisiana it’s to little.. And too late…

sigh***FEMA****sigh

I shudder to think hurricane season is about to begin…………………….
