Melamine~Gluten

“If FDA’s investigation determines that additional pet food products have been manufactured from the suspect rice protein concentrate,

FDA will expect manufacturers to initiate voluntary actions to remove these products from the marketplace,”

the agency said in Sunday’s press release.

Well 3 companies have complied. What about the other 2 companies? What are we feeding
our pets, livestock, or ourselves, that is contaminated by melamine?
Why havent these other companies come forward?

The FDA says it is now sampling all rice protein concentrate and wheat gluten from China.
What about corn gluten, used commonly to boost protein in beef and dairy cattle feed, as well as pet foods.

Why is the FDA not checking? Not enough man power.
Hummmmmm.

I’m not a rocket scientist, but I didn’t fall off the turnip truck last night either.
If rice gluten has been laced with melamine, and wheat gluten has been laced with melamine, is it too ridiculous to think that corn gluten was also laced?

We know that corn gluten was laced with melamine that was shipped to South Africa.

I checked on corn gluten sellers and the top 5 are Chinese.

There are various grades of corn gluten, Animal Fodders, Starch & Derivatives, Fodder, and Feed Additives, Food Additives, Grain, Nutrient Additives.
