Wordy Wednesday~Home Yet Again

Posted by pet | Life | Wednesday 24 September 2008 7:29 pm

The infection flaired back up in my spine,
I am now wearing a central line
so I can have another 4-6 weeks of vancomycin IV at home.

Now the really bad news is that the infection is eating my spine away.

the docs are planning to go into my stomach and open it to the diaphragm, clean
all the infected bone they can get out,
then flip me over, open my spine, and remove that cage at L-4, and clean the back side of the spine out.
Their is no name for this surgery its so rare.

Survival rate is very low, but I am shamelessly asking for prayer and lots of it.
I don’t even know the questions to ask.

The boys have forgiven me for leaving them,, kind of..
