It’s a 1 year and a month past the time this should have been done.
the front Rose bed, was sadly neglected last year.

My soninlaw, Danny is currently laid off and I browbeat him
talked him into working for me for a few days.

After much discussion, we decided the best thing to do was rip everything except the hibiscus, and roses, and lilies out.

Considering that I went completely insane and bought 300 plants
shopping for fresh perennials was a good thing..

There is a 14 ft long 4 foot high path of old flowers and weeds.. that was ripped out today.
We bagged much of it, but ran out of getupandgo.

It was a wonderful day, mid 80’s nice breeze..

I have a light sunburn.. and a happy heart.

We start again in the morning..

A steady spring rain is falling outside my window; it reminds me that God’s grace is always supplied to us if we will take hold of it.

Grace is God’s policy in dealing with the human race. In grace God does all the work; there is no room for human works.
1. Grace and works are as mutually exclusive as light and dark.
2. Grace plus works is not grace.
3. Works involve many things, such as motive, intent, and purpose.
4. The attitude behind works is always pride.
5. The attitude that accepts grace is always humility.
6. Grace plus humility equals power.

O.A. Battista once said” God gave us wheat, but we must bake the bread, He gives us cotton, but we must make the clothes, He provides raw materials, but we must make the finished product.”

“Let us know; let us press on to know the Lord;
His going out is sure as the dawn;
He will come to us as the showers,
As the spring rains that water the earth.” Hosea 6:3

Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
Through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. Romans 5:1-2
