We Say No To China!

From a personal perspective the Olympics might just as well be on Uranus.
The BengalBrats and I are personally boycotting them.
Yes that’s right. We are ignoring, boycotting the glorious 35 billion dollar Chinese Olympics.
The IOC itself negotiated and allowed censorship. Free communications Tiggers butt.

China, the country that last year turned a blind eye as Chinese-made pet food additives
sickened and killed who knows how many cats and dogs?

Then, the US Product Safety Commission recalled about 30 million toys made in China last year after discovering that they had been decorated with colorful but deadly, banned lead paint. Just this past May, Earth 911 pointed out yet another recall for poison toys.

Don’t even get me started on heparin that killed some 81 American citizens, while China shrugged and said oops. Or tooth paste, cough syrup, medicines; baby formula…the list just goes on and on.
Oops, oops,oops, oops.

Fair trade, you know the idea that it’s a win –win situation? Perhaps on the far side of Uranus, certainly not between the USA and China.

Human Rights

(Ummm remind me to send this essay to his honorable Chinese Mr. Suck It Up and his side kick Mr. Who Cares)? China has the right to imprison or kill at will. Don’t like it, Tough.

Can’t stand the thought of babies being aborted and then murdered during live birth, certainly you won’t want to read this.

Children sold openly as slaves?

Organ harvesting for profit…Come on I know they are just Falun Gong prisoners after all…

Oh and did you all notice that while Beijing made a big production about taking dog meat off the menu. No one mentioned cat meat, or for that matter rat meat.

You May be a Racist

I came across this JEM today… I must be a RACIST!

HT/with Thanks…
25 Reasons You May be a Racist [Peter Kirsanow]

The tendency of Obama supporters to see racist impulses behind every criticism of their candidate has evolved into absurdity. Now even the first black president feels compelled to declare he’s not a racist. By this measure, nearly every American is at risk of being branded a racist at some point in the campaign. To assess whether you’re at risk just consult the list below ( apologies to Jeff Foxworthy ):

1.If you think Obama’s the most liberal member of the senate you…may be a racist.

2.If you object to Obama raising your payroll, capital gains and estate taxes you…may be a racist.

3.If you’d prefer a president have at least some foreign policy experience you…may be a racist.

4. If you’re in favor of drilling for oil and building nuclear power plants you…may be a racist.

5. If you think “Vero Possemus” is Latin for “Massive Ego” you… may be a racist.

6. If you wonder why Obama was hanging around William Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn you…may be a racist.

7. If your pastor is nothing like Rev. Wright or Father Pfleger you… may be a racist.

8.If you don’t want the majority of justices on the Supreme Court to be like Stephen Breyer you…may be a racist.

9. If you’re not impressed with Obama’s 100% NARAL rating you…may be a racist.

10. If you’re not sure whether Obama opposed or supported FISA reauthorization you…may be a racist.

11. If you don’t think America is a “downright mean” country you…may be a racist.

12. If you think Obama should’ve visited wounded troops at Ramstein and Landstuhl you…may be a racist.

13. If you think the surge is working and that’s a good thing you…may be a racist.

14. If you oppose racial preferences in employment, school admissions and contracting you…may be a racist.

15. If you think “we are the change we’ve been waiting for” is a line from a Monty Python skit you…may be a racist.

16. If you prefer that a president have a smidgen of executive experience you…may be a racist.

17. If you’re appalled that Obama voted against treating infants born after an abortion attempt the same medically as other infants born alive you…may be a racist.

18. If you were proud of your country even before Obama’s candidacy you…may be a racist.

20. If you don’t think American troops are just “air raiding villages” you…may be a racist.

21. If your grandmother isn’t a “typical white person” you…may be a racist.

22. If you don’t think rural, working class people are bitter and “cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren’t like them” you…may be a racist.

23. If you’re not sure invading Pakistan is a particularly good idea—what with their nuclear weapons and all— you…may be a racist.

24. If you don’t want the president to meet without precondition with the leaders of state sponsors of terror you…may be a racist.

25. If you don’t care how Hollywood or the European elite think you should vote you…may be a racist.

Just Saying…

I have become convinced over the last few months that John McCain is the candidate
We need in the white house.

If you are given responsibility, then you must also have the authority
to carry out that responsibility. Seems like a reasonable premise.I believe John McCain has the guts to do just that.

In Iraq, as anti-war/Bush mob have tied our military’s hands.
Why have we given the military the responsibility to conduct a war, then tied one hand behind their backs.
I have listened as fellow Americans screaming moobats deride the Commander in Chief, yet demand the right to speak freely. These moonbats also denigrate those who believe first hand that freedom is not free. Someone has paid the price with their lives or their precious blood, or stands in harms way to pay the price,(certainly not the people who insist freedom is a free lunch.)

So Dr Dobson won’t endorse McCain. (Dobson, who professed for years to support the moral majority, which by the way was neither moral nor a majority.)
Who appointed him as our conscience or moral standard.. geez I even had to shudder at that thought..?
Dr.Dobson fact had this to say in part:
“I am deeply disappointed the Republican Party seems poised to select a nominee who did not support a Constitutional amendment to protect the institution of marriage, voted for embryonic stem-cell research to kill nascent human beings, opposed tax cuts that ended the marriage penalty, has little regard for freedom of speech, organized the Gang of 14 to preserve filibusters in judicial hearings, and has a legendary temper and often uses foul and obscene language.”

My hubby,TheMasterOfTheUniverse was an Army man, he sometimes quite frequently cusses. Yes,That would be speaking obscene language. He also has a temper. His tolerance for BS is zero, or real close He also demonstrates accountability; respect for others; trustworthiness, courage to do the right thing at the right time; faith to continue; willingness to serve others; personal integrity.

Kind of like our favorite candidate. John McCain is a man who thinks, has the guts to disagree, and stands on what he believes in.

Dobson said this after publicly supporting Jerry Falwell..
“the Moral Majority was founded as a reaction against a secular society that was increasingly hostile to conservative Christians.”

Heh.

Vote McCain.
