Mexico Our Friend
President Bush stated in his address to the nation last evening that
“The United States is not going to militarize the southern border. Mexico is our neighbor, and our friend. We will continue to work cooperatively to improve security on both sides of the border … to confront common problems like drug trafficking and crime … and to reduce illegal immigration. “
Gosh I was so relieved to hear that Mexico is our friend. I was really starting to wonder as I watched while millions of Illegal aliens marching in American streets and protesting their civil rights are being violated. I must have misunderstood that they were demanding amnesty for successfully breaking the law.
What a relief to know I was mistaken!
Francisco Loureiro, who runs a migrant shelter in Nogales, across the border from Nogales, Ariz., criticized President Bush’s plan as an “aggressive action, more than anything because the migrant is not a criminal or a terrorist.”
“His only objective is to work … and a government that supposedly lobbies for world peace is now acting against defenseless migrants who are helping to fill a need for employees in the U.S.,” he said.
Here’s a clue! If you are in the USA illegally you have no civil rights in the USA.
Human rights yes, civil rights are reserved for those immigrants who bothered to follow the laws of the mean ol USA. Obviously, while the method to illegally enter the USA is common knowledge, American law is not.
Im wondering how Jay Stevenson at Stop The aclu is feeling after playing a drinking game
