I am off to the hospital for at least a week,
the Hickman catheter has become infected, so a surgery to remove it,
IV antibiotics to control both the spine infection and this infection,
and with a small amount of luck, a new Hickman catheter.. and then home.

I am hoping that all is in place correctly so that I can use the laptop while I’m in the hospital..but
that’s not a promise!
