Performance Team Figure Skater’s Mom

Ashley is Laurie’s 12 yr-old girl, and her passion is figure skating. She has made it through all the official group figure skating levels and is now a member of a performance team at a local rink. She has been skating for 5 years and has grace, speed, and the determination to claw her way up without the benefit of private lessons and the amount of ice time that some of the other children are lucky enough to have. She has been known to skate for 4 hours at a time, given the opportunity, just for the sheer joy of it!
